The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!! AND DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS EVERYBODY!!!

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin

For the last couple of years The Body Shop have come out with a Vanilla Pumpkin range come September/October. It has now become tradition that I pick up a couple of tubs of their body butter in that scent since it’s obviously the only time I can get them.

Mine do have last year’s Día de los Muertos design (which is prettier than this year’s packaging to be honest) since I picked mine up in The Body Shop Outlet in Roermond last July.

Clearly, Disney’s Coco has had a big influence on bringing awareness to this Mexican holiday (after the fiasco of trying to trademark it, that is) because it has already trickled down to the Halloween decor here in Belgium.

Now, I can try to recreate my very own skeleton Mariachi band to serenade me! My Dad also surprised me today with a big statue of two salsa dancers, what more could a girl need?!

Anyway, getting side-tracked, back to the actual product!

As I’ve explained before The Body Shop seems to have two different consistencies when it comes to their body butters; the harder and thicker ones like their vitamin E or strawberry ones and their softer and creamier/spreadable ones like their mango or almond milk & honey ones. This vanilla pumpkin one is of the softer and creamier variety, which makes it perfect for the transitional season that is autumn as it’s not too heavy and rich.

There you have it the perfect product to have at hand this Halloween/Día de los Muertos!

If you haven’t already definitely watched Coco, it will give you a nice break from all the jump scare movies I’m sure you’ve been binging. Plus, the animation is just stunning and as a Pixar movie it’s bound to make you cry.

If you’re interested; my glittery spiders came from Stonemanor which is a store that goes all-out come Halloween (which is a rarity in Europe certainly in Belgium), see here. The ornaments/rest of the decor are from Delhaize over the years (they have a small section of Halloween decor every year).

Have a Happy Halloween and don’t overdo it on the candy…I kid, EAT ALL THE CANDY!!!
