It’s not all good news sadly, this collection is confirmed to be the last of Zoella Beauty. I know, all good things must come to an end but I’m sure we’re going to see bigger and better things from Zoe. I’ll still be supporting her on her next adventure that’s for sure. If the quality of Zoella Beauty is anything to go by that is (we can all put the calendar fiasco behind us).
Before we get into it, I know what you’re thinking, where did those amazing fruit cups come from? The peach one was from Hema (similar here), the watermelon one came from Casa (still available here), and finally the pineapple one was also from Casa (no longer available) however Maison Du Monde have a near identical one here (and a fun coconut one that I have my eye on here).
Zoella Fruit Medley: Body Mist
Now back to what you actually came for, I only picked up the Zoella Fruit Medley Body Mist because I have way too many other shower/bath products to go through at the moment (technically I also have too many perfumes but pOtato potAto didn’t say my logic made sense).
According to Fragrantica the notes are as follows; watermelon, peach, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry but they don’t seem to have ranked them (top notes, middle notes and base notes). Probably because this body mist isn’t very strong and doesn’t last all that long (I would class it as an eau fraîche as when I sprayed it on my skin I got 2 hours of wear time max and on my clothes maybe 3-4 hours). It doesn’t seem to follow the typical perfume breakdown pattern as first spray and 2 hours later have the exact same smell just more faded (i.e. a base note doesn’t suddenly come in and pull more strawberry for example).
I would still highly recommend it though as it’s very fresh and uplifting, you just might have to top up a few times a day, but I would say it’s definitely worth it and I can see it becoming my year’s go-to summer fragrance.
The gorgeous cherry earrings are the latest addition to my funky earrings collection. I picked them up on my recent family holiday to Italy and they are from Bijou Brigitte (still available here). The almost neon flash of turquoise on my eyes is Nyx Vivid Brights Crème Colour in 02 Aqua Sapphire applied as eyeliner, on my lips is N°7 Precision Lips Pencil in Nude and on my nails is Rimmel London 60 Second Super Shine in 452 Chin up, Buttercup. All in all, a very colourful post in perfect time for summer!
