Soooo…I may or may not have another Olivia Burton watch to regale you with (they really should sponsor me at this point).
The Wonderland design is a classic for Olivia Burton, they still have six variations of this design on their website with the one with the rose gold mesh strap here being the most similar to the one you’re seeing in the photos. I got mine on sale from John Lewis at £72 instead of the usual £99, they also have the rose gold mesh strapped one at £79 instead of £99, so buy it there if you want it!
I knew I had to pick a watch up from the Wonderland collection before they went the way of the chequered-faced design and disappeared altogether. The Wonderland design is distinguishable by its Roman numerals bordering an inner circle. Olivia Burton watches normally only have the Roman numerals, dots or stones/gems indicating the hours without that inner circle essentially.
But I’m going to take issue with their strap colour descriptions again I’m afraid. This watch was described as grey/white on the JL website and is really a very lilac-toned dark grey. A bit darker than seen in the photos as I had to brightened them up quite a bit hence lightening the strap along the way too.
So “grey” could be an off-white colour like my Olivia Burton Daisy Watch strap, or this dark grey lilac-toned number…which is quite a broad spectrum for “one” colour if you ask me. But the Olivia Burton photos are more accurate in their colour depiction, so base your purchases more on the photos that the actual wording I’d say.
On my nails I’m wearing Essie’s Chocolate Cakes my favourite dark brown! It doesn’t really go with the watch but hakuna matata, I got too excited when I got the watch for Christmas of 2018 (yep this blog post has been a long time coming) and wanted to wear the watch pronto! So, I did the photos as quick as possible with the dark nails I had on at the time before creating the ultimate eyesore the dreaded watch strap crease!
